When Jesus came to the Jews, they assumed that a Savior King should come with an army,tall and look majestic...But Jesus did not look a bit like that.
Many of the blessings we expect, tend to come wrapped in an unexpected package. Let's learn to see with the eyes of God and not with our own eyes.
This reminds me of the lady who remained single till 42, simply because she had set a standard to what her future husband should look like. In her mind, her life partner should look exactly like George Clooney...therefore she became very good at rejecting every good man who came along on her way.
God can send you what you are searching, but it does not mean that it will match your own human standard.
Let's be careful not to evaluate our blessings through human standard but with the eyes of God.
