WHY YOU SHOULD GET A MENTOR

Get some help.
'Today's post is written by a close friend of mine, I have known for ages now. He has something very interesting to share with us, so let's  buckle up our belts and read what he's got in his pockets':

To become successful is a wish and passion that drives people through  purpose, but this requires some procedures that are not tangible.  There are various procedures to take us to the mountain of success, but above everything,  one  needs to acknowledge the journeys of those who preceded him/her in order to learn from their  successes or failures .
Therefore, it goes without a say that one has to remain close to experienced and successful people, if he/she wishes to succeed. I like what the Bible says: ' I became a wise man because of the Time spent with the wise.'  Close contact with the experienced and wise will definitely  bear a positive influence on your mind.
The literature refers to the procedural and conceptual approaches in the journey of considering oneself successful or attaining a personal goal. It will always be advisable for someone  to be selective in terms of surroundings and to learn not to invest his/or her time with the people without vision or any form of dream for themselves.

If someone, for example, wishes to become philosopher,a musician or anything else, it should be agreeable for him/or her to be associated  frequently with like minded people and remain in an environment favoring the development of his/her dreams.

Get yourself a Mentor

It is always a pleasant experience to improve or perfect  a talent through togetherness with the best and which somehow, helps to emerge much faster towards personal success.

As I wrote earlier:' to become publicly successful on the fast track would be easy if you were introduced by someone successful who has preceded you in the area in which you are attempting to emerge.
As a typical example,  let's suppose that a 'newbie' musician would sing  with a mega star such as the late Michael Jackson on the same stage...What a boost it would be for that new singer! In the space of a minute the 'rookie singer'  would attract the world's attention  and everybody would want to know more about him/her.It does not matter if  his/her performance was good or bad, the only consideration given by the supportive and mentoring superstar is more than enough to boost the rookie's career .

Referring to the Word of God, the Bible records that John the Baptist came first to pave the way for Jesus-Christ , and  even provided Him (Jesus) with His  two first disciples.  Moses did the same for Joshua; Mentorship  made it very easy for Joshua to begin  the public Leadership over Israel.

The world is made  of  leaders and followers, and only real Leaders understand the importance of ' being told what to do'. A real leader is  always prepared to be receptive towards outwards perspective.

Your acceptance to acknowledge  and respect the presence and contributions of those who performed excellent works previously  will assist you  in acquiring knowledge from them. Get yourself one mentor or a role model who will  be very close to you. Regardless of how busy he/she is, attempt to spend time  as much as you can with them.

The Bible tells us :'that  humility leads  to glory but pride leads to  failure'. If  we are pursuing our goals on the road to  achievement  with the heart of a leader, we should know how to humble ourselves and listen to the advices of  our successful predecessors in order to realize a decent Life fullfilment.
