THE CHRISTIAN CARNIVAL ( MARCH EDITION 2013)

Greetings to all in the Name of Jesus Christ,

It is again this special time of the month where some of the best, refined and heartily devoted  Bloggers  gather  together with one purpose :' Share, impact as many as possible and influence the blogosphere ; God's way.'   The beauty of a carnival is found in the diversity of people and thoughts completing each other  and attempting to unite and move as one body :' The Body of Christ, that's what we are.'

Difference, within the body of Christ, separates us as originals, but also explains  why we need each other. the finger needs the nail, the tongue needs the teeth, the arms need the elbow...So goes with the Church:' From Apologetics, Theologians, Philosophers, Financiers, Bankers, Evangelists, Coaches, Sportsmen , Preachers, Businessmen,...we are all originals (unless we decide to become a copy) and we all need each other under the Head of Christ.

It is my pleasure to host the '2013 March Edition' of the Christian Blog Carnival. In case you still don't understand what's the carnival is all about, it is simply a collection of articles submitted by Christian Bloggers on varied issues affecting all of us. As a host, my mission will be simply to introduce those acts.

Before introducing the upcoming acts, I would like to send a special Thank you to all those who responded positively to make this Carnival possible:

Helen Murray ( Child of God, proud mom and wife)
Raquel Hinqson ( academic and Church minister)
Jason Price ( Businessman, financial coach and Blogger)
Deano        ( Youth Pastor)
Gbenga Mathew Owotoki ( Intellectual, Influencer, and Leader)
Shannon Christman ( Freelance Writer and copy editor)
Kristen Cain (Missionary servant)
Mr. Ridge Burns ( Mission executive director)
Jennifer Vaughn-Estrada ( Blogger)
Richard H. Anderson ( Theologian)
H.L. Hussman (Apostle and evangelist)
Krista Manchuck ( friend, and passionate runner) and
Chris Price ( Blogger).

Here we go:

WE ARE ONE:

I could not think of any other post to start with than the one my  friend Krista Manchuck  brought to me several months ago , titled :  'Help! I need somebody!', a beautiful article reminding us that we should not fight or embark in our journey alone, but rather decide on joining hands with others. Alone, life can be good, but together , it is much better.

APOLOGETIC ( Defender of the Faith):

H.L. Hussman from 'On Target' brings a brilliant lesson of philosophy in  'Saved from Stupid' on what ought to be true statements and how to bring down statements that are self-defeating. It is actually amazing the level of contradiction found in 'The Faith detractor'  . His article carries on with a second part in 'The road runner method of apologetics' offering  philosophical methods to defeat contradictory statements against Faith:

'If someone says “there is no such thing as truth” it begs the question, “is your statement true?” If so, truth exists. If not, truth exists. Either way, truth exists.' ( H. L. Hussman)

THEOLOGY

Jennifer Vaughn-Estrada from 'The Chic of Domesticity' brings some clarification on the gnostic 'Gospel of Thomas' in ' 'Thoughts on the Gospel of Thomas' . The article resonates a brilliant alarm on tools that could be used  to turn Christianity into a religion similar to Buddhism.  As J. Vaughn-Estrada notes: ' The Gospel of Thomas lacks the element of Hope the world needs from Jesus as an almighty God and Savior' .

Richard H. Anderson from kratistostheophilos brings an historical article 'Another view of the Hebrews and the Hellenists.

FINANCE  AND PERSONAL COACHING

Jason Price ( a like minded blogger), from One Money Design  shares personal issues that are common to  every serious passionate blogger attempting to make it big. Actually, those issues don't just limit themselves to bloggers only, but also to anyone also involved in a passionate activity other than blogging. His article Hurry up and wait on God:' A lesson in Faith and Business.' offers a beautiful lesson of patience and self-discipline:
'  God still expects me to work hard and do my part, but I don’t think it’s His desire for me to over work myself, sacrifice important relationships with family and friends, or not take care of my health to make this business grow in what would be my timing.  No, God requires me to be steady and faithful in my work and to trust Him in taking care of the rest.'

You are 100% right Jason.

Chris Price ,from 'Earn money in pajamas' brings us two biblical reasons on 'Why try to make money in your pajamas?'

PHILOSOPHY

A while ago, I have been battling to post one of my articles  on the Carnival, and after good consideration, I decided to post it on this carnival edition: ' One day, Jesus sent Peter to collect money he would  only find in a fish. For ages, the story has been interpreted as if God would send money ( which is a human invention) out there for no reason. But there is a philosophical truth behind the passage of Matthew 17:27, which could unlock greater financial results if well understood with a logical reasoning , through this post: 'How to attract more money in your life'.

SHORT, SWEET AND LOVELY DEVOTIONALS

In Faith Mission Blog presents two bloggers Kristen Cain who shares a miraculous testimony that proves God's Faith fullness when we really serve Him. Check her testimony in 'Transforming the impossible' .
Mr. Ridge Burns prays for a softer heart flexible to do God's will in 'Stuborness'.  A special Thank you  goes to Shanon Christman from  'The Minority Thinker'  for her contributions to this carnival... and who brought :''Jesus Online Presence' , in which she reminds us to watch our online conduct as internet users :

' we are Christ online presence as much as we are His hands and feet, in our communities. What we say online matters, but often, how we say it matters even more'. ( Shanon Christman)

Raquel Hinqson  from Walking into your destiny  tells us to stop playing Church and really act the part in 'We are the Church.' . Helen Murray from 'Are we nearly there yet?' brings her own version of Matthew 9:18-22 in 'The Healer'.  Dean from Australia posts ' An answer to ourself'.

SERIOUSLY  MOTIVATIONAL

The Blogger ,I am about to introduce is a fellow African from Nigeria, who is an international   thought leader : Gbenga Owotoki  from Gbenga Owotoki brings a deep motivational teaching in 'God's refinery: Emerging out of your cocoon',  explaining the benefits of character building through God's Hands. It's a must read.

Whatever you do, whatever exists shall cease to be. Whatever situation good or bad shall come to an end. And so comes the end of this Carnival hosted by  The Dreamcatcher. On this note, allow me to share  with you a post titled :'Everything that has a beginning, has an end' .
Ending does not necessarily mean sad closing chapter, but may also be the   beginning  of new things.

                                                                        Enjoy your reading!

                                                                                 END

(Oouuuff, that was tiresome to compile ,lol!)
