'Submit then to God. Resist the devil shall flee from from you.' (James 4:7).
Sometimes it seems as if the devil will not leave us alone; we sense his grips on our backs through days, months and sometimes years.
For the devil to oppress u successfully, there has to be a door. Satan uses the same door he has been using with Adam and Eve, and that door is called disobedience to God.
The best bait for Satan's oppression is our lack of submission to God.
We can not experience full deliverance from Jesus if we are still not submitted to Him. Whenever children of God disobey, Satan reigns.
There several orders and commands that the Lord tells us to follow, but if we ignore them, we are openig a door for sin, which welcomes the grip of Satan.
Let's all remember that.
