This is the greatest revelation for an unstoppable life of purpose.
What does Jesus mean by the ‘Kingdom of God?’
‘Being concerned about the Kingdom of God, is all about being concerned over the ‘leadership of God’ on Earth. It’s about pushing the Authority of God on this Earth. Jesus is simply telling you:’ be concerned about the rulership of God on Earth’.
The just life that God requires of you, is your purpose. Your purpose is the part you will play at extending God’s Authority on this earth. Most people get confused and think that you can only live a Godly purpose if you are called to the ministry. That’s not totally true. Every single Christian, minister or not, has been called to do something at a certain level. Even if you have not been called to a church office ( apostolic, prophetic, teacher, pastor or evangelistic), you still have a specific mission to play in the extension of God’s Authority on Earth.
‘When Jesus said: ‘Let your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven’, He meant that we should wish for a duplicate of Heaven on Earth. Whatever thing happening in Heaven should happen on Earth. Do you know that there is no misery in Heaven? Do you know that there are no broke people in Heaven? There are no sick people, there is no darkness, no hunger, no sin, no corruption or injustice in Heaven. And this is what Jesus brought during His ministry on Earth. And this is what you should pray for, this what your purpose should work towards.
This is a guideline of how to live your life on alignment with God’s Kingdom:
1. Be in a state of worship: ‘worshipping God will make you more likely to receive revelations on your calling. Calling is not just limited to preaching behind the pulpit; God can call you to be a lawyer, a doctor, a teacher, a chef…The occupation in which God calls is a strategic position He will use to advance His rulership on Earth.
2. Tithe your income: ‘I will never say enough on the importance of Tithing…Contributing your income at your church boosts the capacity of saving souls, helping the poor, and maintaining the church and its workers.
3. If you can’t Tithe due to joblessness, then spend your time by volunteering at your church until you get a job. When I was younger, I learned about myself by volunteering my local church newspaper. I learned about my writing, and I still write now. Surely, God will bless you in due time. It’s better than sitting at home and waiting for something to happen.
4. Share the gospel, spread the rulership of God from the position you are occupying; there are many ways of doing it. You can support financially, you can blog, or partake in evangelistic events in your local church. But let your position be benefitial to the Kingdom of God on Earth ….
And surely, God will supply all your needs.
