As I am currently writing this post, billions of human beings have traded their life purposes for the pursuit of material gains. Not because they love money, but simply because they are entrapped in debt...
A while ago, I was talking to a lady who keeps complaining about her finances.
This is her story: ' For the past 15 years of her life, she has never seen her full salary in her bank accounts. Every time she gets paid, debits orders are coming to choke her money in 'one go'. Within the first 5 days of the month, she runs out and has to borrow money again just to survive.
The reason behind her troubles was caused by her husband who borrowed over 300000 South African Rands for their house as a collateral. The man began with small loan amounts but kept borrowing, borrowing and borrowing until he got involved into an accident and could not work anymore.
Guess who is left to pay the bills? The poor woman of course...with a monthly four figure salary.
To make matters worse, she has four grown up kids, and three of them are already stuck in life because they have already sunk into 'easy debts'.
While listening to her story, I was not really shocked by the amount of debts she sunk into but by the facts that her 'new purpose in life' is to pay debts.
She wakes up every morning, even pay transport to go to a workplace that does not benefit to her anymore.
She even pays transport to spend energy at making bills payments...
She is in her forties and with the payment plan she has, there is no way that she will be able to finish her debts by 65. When she reaches 65, her whole life would have been devastated and wasted. All her dreams would have been burnt into the distraction of debt.
Now, I don't know how you would call that, but to me it really looks like modern slavery...
If I was her, I would have filed for bankruptcy, let the creditor take the house, and give myself a chance to start over for the remaining years of her career. I mean; 20 years to 65, is still a lot to 'start over' instead of crippling into stress and 'image status' paranoia.
Are you living to pay debts? Is your life a cruel story where your dreams and visions have been sacrificed for loan payments? Do you know that some of the stress you are experiencing is caused by the amount of debts you have? Your health is at risk...
People keep complaining on TV, at the parliament, on radio and newspapers...and they all say the same thing:
'The poor are getting poorer but the rich is getting richer.'
This statement is true but what makes me sad is that politicians and economists focus on the wrong thing. I will tell you why the poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer:
'The main reason destroying our middle class, is caused by our 'financial credit policies'. Those policies are easy to access, even irresponsible people have access to 'unreal' money. '
Let just think for a moment:
'If you borrow money somewhere, it was your own choice. Not the President's responsibility ( as we love to say down here). When you are paying back the loan amount, you will pay some extra interests that will affect your 'real money'. As a result, you get poorer. But where do you think that money goes to?
Those interests that you are paying, are directly sent to banks owned by rich people.
Here we go: 'the poor gets poorer and the rich keeps rolling'.
Banks don't make a lot of money by safeguarding your cash in bank accounts. As a proof, their lower and middle employees earn shocking salaries. Banks mostly make money on loans paid out to their clients. The credits providing services constitute the core of their business.
We are now living in times where Godly wisdom needs to prevail in our finance. America has already fallen into the trap of debts. The American government is in debt...and the world is busy following their footsteps.
In South Africa, our national electricity services can not provide effectively because of a deficit counted into billions just for maintenance. Now, if our national electricity provider also called ESKOM gets the money to function properly; where do you think they will get the money from?(Let's just think for a moment)
Here is the answer: 'they will borrow from somewhere...'
And it is becoming the new song that every body has to sing:
'We have a government in debts, (that's why they keep increasing taxes, you probably did not know...)
Projects financed by debts,
Youngsters are in debts as soon as they finish college, not to mention that they have to prepare for lobola and borrow again for it,
Businesses in debts,
Employees in reckless debts and as a result they demand for constant wage increase, which repels international investors...
Oh God! Let somebody do something about it!'
Somebody need to stand and say:' that's enough!'
God did not send you on earth to pay debts. You were not meant to spend your energy to work just to pay some sort of 'slavery debts'.
Do you believe that?
If yes, then make sure to catch my next messages that will focus on getting out of debts with God's wisdom.
You can get out of debts. It is possible. And if you know someone who might need those messages, send me their emails, I will be glad to help.
