How to make effective decisions for a better future.

As we grow older, we tend to understand that our present is mostly affected by what we did in the past. Even though it is possible to leave the past behind, we should not underestimate the post-effects of yesterday on today's day.

The most part of who you are today, is mostly caused by what happened yesterday. Therefore, we can conclude that life advances in sequence whereas the past affects today and today affects tomorrow.

If we think that way, we could actually recognize that we have power to model our destiny. Think for a moment about your life...If you have been on earth for a long time, you will easily understand that the circumstances in which you are finding yourself right now, are just a 'follow up' of what you decided in the past.

'You have kids because you decided to conceive. You are working as a nurse today, simply because you decided to study at a nursing school in your past.
Your current state is a fruition of decisions you took earlier in your life. Once you admit this truth, you suddenly empower yourself with the ability to control your future.

If you admit that your past decisions led you where you are today, it won't be difficult for you to admit that your future will be caused by all the decisions that you are taking today.
Right at this moment, the past is gone and the future does not exist yet. The only real thing is the present. And the present will determine your 'tomorrow'. Therefore take good care of today, because 'today' will shape your future.
Don't sit back and wait for some sort of lucky circumstance to happen , on the contrary you are the one who must happen.

And let me tell you something that might shock you:

'You have the power to realize all your dreams and visions.' You have it already.

In the Bible, The passage in book of Psalms 82:6 says: 'You are gods..' It also means that you have supernatural power to take decisions and make things happen. What's holding you back?

'2 Corinthians 6:1' clearly says that we are God's co-workers. It means that God plays His part and you have a part to play. The only way to play your part is by taking 'conscious' decisions in the present. In the passage of Luke 10:19, Jesus said the He gave us all the powers over the enemy.

Sometimes we wonder why some of our circumstances don't change and why God does not seem to get involved in our issues. The truth is: 'God always cares.' And He has already done His part, and He is waiting on you to use the powers He has given you.

Use your powers by taking decisions today, that will shape your tomorrow. The best way to take conscious decisions, is by asking yourself the question:

'How is every single decisions I am taking today, going to contribute to the future plans that God has for me?'

And I mean every decisions...

I like what the late Jim Rohn said one day:

'If you don't like your circumstances, change them by taking a decision. You are not a tree.'

I might not know you in real life, but I am sure of one thing: 'You are not a tree.' So don't even try to act like one.
